Buffalo

Discover the Custer State Park Bison Herd during your Private Tour

Our guests always ask, will we see the buffalo? And our response is always an enthusiastic, yes!

While every tour is unique and no two tours are the same, if you want to see the bison herd our guides are going to do everything they can to give you an amazing buffalo experience. Just remember, we need you to stay at a safe distance. Buffalo can weigh as much as 2,200 pounds and are quicker than you think, with top speeds of 35 mph.

Don't run away just yet. We take good care of our guests; we know what's safe, and love to share this amazing experience.

As part of the Southern Hills Parks and Monuments Tour, we show you all the sites, allowing you to sit back and enjoy your surroundings. There is no need to worry about going in circles. Custer State Park may be 71,000 acres and the buffalo do roam but Dave's World Tours has the best local guides in the business. If you're with us, you're going to see the buffalo.
